One of our member practices in Oklahoma is seeking a Director of Occupational Therapy to lead their OT department and take on a key leadership role.


About the Role

As Director of OT, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the department’s future, leading an exceptional team, and working alongside other leaders to provide world-class care to children in need.

  • Lead with Expertise: Ensure that all therapy is grounded in evidence-based practices, cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, and stay informed on cutting-edge developments in pediatric occupational therapy.

  • Team Development & Growth: Help recruit top-tier therapists by actively networking with schools, OT professionals, and recruiters. You’ll also develop and oversee a fieldwork program designed to prepare the next generation of pediatric OTs.

  • Build Relationships with Pediatricians: Collaborate closely with local pediatricians, educating them on the benefits of occupational therapy, nurturing partnerships, and working together to improve outcomes for the children and families we serve.


What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a leader who is passionate about pediatric therapy and dedicated to family-centered care. You’re a great fit for this role if you have:

  • Strong leadership experience in occupational therapy
  • Proven success in mentoring OTAs and students
  • Expertise in setting up department best practices
  • A collaborative approach with peers and stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills, especially when presenting to others

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy
  • Leadership experience in a clinical setting
  • Familiarity with state regulations and insurance policies
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a natural ability to foster relationships
  • Willingness to stay engaged with the latest research and best practices
  • Knowledge of how to use social media to build relationships and engage with the community
